5th July 2014 5:19am - Saturday Bike Run (32.23 Km)
It was raining heavily the night before so although I was praying for the rain to stop I was not really expecting to haves a Saturday bike ride. However, waking up at 4am I noticed that the road in EDSA was all dry. My intention for the day was to hit 30km distance. Took the Shaw Blvd - Sta Mesa - Legarda - Ayala Bridge - Roxas Blvd - EDSA extension - Pasong Tamo - Naia 3 - Lawton - BGC - Guadalupe - EDSA Paragon route for 32.23 km distance.
While the ride was smooth, it was difficult to squeeze your way from jeepneys cutting and then making a sudden stop either to drop a passenger or pickup a passenger.
There is only one difficult climb in this route and that is the one from JP Rizal extension to Guadalupe bridge then all the way to Boni MRT station at EDSA. How I wish I have 6 gears instead of only 3.
